…and I don’t have a clue what to write about.
Drawing a blank is never great but when you’re already suffering from a few symptoms due to mental health illnesses it can have some pretty shitty effects.
I was randomly reminded today to stop making shit even more complicated and keep it simple.
On even my worst days whenever I take the time to practice gratitude it helps.
I’m going back to basics today, my first post is going to be my daily gratitude list.
Today I’m grateful for 3 things:
- I opened my eyes today.
- Being a part of a powerful sisterhood and feeling like I belong.
- For answering my phone and really listening to the message I needed to hear.
Full disclosure: I’m struggling with anxiety that is so severe at times it’s almost paralyzing, I’m also a grateful recovering alcoholic/addict.
I bring this up because incorporating a daily gratitude list in my life has saved me countless times, which is why I’m a huge advocate for getting everyone to do it.
